In Japan, the Hamayumi (破魔弓), or "demon-breaking bow," is a traditional symbol of protection and good fortune. How Hama Yumi Are Made

The wooden shafts are lacquered with cashew paint and decorated with real gold foil. Each feather is hand-trimmed to resemble a hawk feather, symbolizing strength and sharp vision.
